MUCKDOG® · PRE-LAUNCH

Privacy notice

Contact enquiries are used to respond to your message. Contacting MUCKDOG does not sign you up for marketing emails.

Who we are

MUCKDOG® is the trading name of MUCKDOG LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16993499. MUCKDOG LTD operates this website and is the data controller: we decide how the personal information described here is used.

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@muckdog.com.

Registered office: 13 Ullswater Drive, Bury, BL9 9QG.

This version of the website

MUCKDOG® is developing dog washing and drying products. This is a pre-launch information website, with no product ordering, payment processing or customer accounts. You can browse without signing up or sending a message.

Contact enquiries

When you use the Contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use these details to understand, manage and respond to your enquiry and deal with related correspondence.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: receiving, managing and responding to enquiries sent to MUCKDOG LTD. Sending a Contact message does not give marketing consent or subscribe you to email updates.

Email updates and your consent

If you sign up, we collect your email address and your first name if you choose to supply it. We keep a record of the signup and the consent wording shown. Our lawful basis is your consent to receive MUCKDOG product-development, launch and availability updates and occasional MUCKDOG news.

We are currently collecting consented signups only. We are not sending marketing emails yet, and no marketing-email platform is currently connected to this website.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@muckdog.com. When marketing emails begin, they will include a way to unsubscribe. Newsletter signup remains separate from Contact enquiries.

Service providers and sharing

Netlify hosts the website and handles and stores website form submissions through Netlify Forms, including spam filtering. Contact notifications are sent to hello@muckdog.com, our business mailbox provided through Apple iCloud Mail. We use that mailbox to reply and manage related correspondence.

Relevant information is therefore handled through Netlify and Apple/iCloud Mail to operate the site and business communications. Within MUCKDOG LTD, access is limited to those authorised to deal with these purposes.

We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or rent the mailing list, give it to unrelated businesses for marketing, or use it for unrelated third-party promotions.

How long we keep information

Contact enquiries and related correspondence are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last correspondence. This applies to relevant records in Netlify Forms and our business mailbox. We keep a specific record longer only where there is a genuine legal, regulatory or business reason to do so.

Newsletter details are kept until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe. We then remove their active-marketing status and retain only the minimum information genuinely needed to record and respect your preference, if required.

Other information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, including dealing with privacy requests and protecting the website.

Operating and protecting the website

Hosting and security services may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver pages and help prevent abuse. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the website available and protecting it from misuse.

International processing

Netlify and Apple operate internationally, and information handled through their services may be processed outside the UK. Their published information describes the international-transfer arrangements they use: see Netlify’s data processing agreement and Apple’s Privacy Policy. Contact us if you would like information about arrangements relevant to your data.

Your information and choices

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction of errors, deletion or restriction of its use. Where applicable, you can request a portable copy of information you supplied. These rights depend on the circumstances and may be subject to legal exceptions.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons related to your situation. You can object to direct marketing or withdraw marketing consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use based on that consent.

Email hello@muckdog.com to make a request. We may need enough information to confirm your identity and find the relevant records. We use privacy-request information to deal with the request and meet our legal obligations under data-protection law.

Cookies and tracking

This version of the website does not include analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds or non-essential cookie or browser-storage tracking. Hosting and security services may process technical information to operate and protect the site; this is not a claim that those services never use cookies.

External social links

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are ordinary outbound profile links, not embedded feeds. Their presence does not give MUCKDOG information about your activity on those platforms. If you follow a link, that service’s own privacy practices apply.

Questions or complaints

Please contact hello@muckdog.com first if you have a privacy concern so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data-protection regulator.
